IMAC Consulting Group's Albert L. McGinty, Jr. takes part in
designing and evaluating recent mock disaster drill at Cleveland's
Jacob's field |

CLEVELAND, Ohio (September 30, 2002) - Albert L. McGinty, who, as
a former FBI agent was in charge of the Bureau's
Anti-Terrorism/Weapons of Mass Destruction Program in Northeastern
Ohio, took part in the evaluation of a recent mock disaster drill
at Jacobs Field, home of the Cleveland Indians. |

Currently, McGinty is Security Advisor with IMAC Consulting Group,
a full-service security planning and prevention consulting
company. |

McGinty was invited to participate at the event at the behest of
the Cleveland Indians, along with the team's operations and
security professionals as well as the FBI, Cleveland Fire and
Police Departments, EMS teams, and federal EPA, ATF, and Secret
Service. Also participating in the drill were members of the Ohio
National Guard, Army, Air Force and nine area hospitals. |

As
part of his responsibility, McGinty was on a committee that
designed the mock disaster drill. As a Primary Exercise Evaluator,
he will prepare the final evaluation. |

A
native Clevelander and alumnus of John Carroll University, McGinty
is a former Cleveland police officer and a U.S. Marine Corps
veteran. He spent 31 years as an FBI Special Agent in Minneapolis,
New York City, and Cleveland. While in Minneapolis, he
investigated bank robbery and fugitive cases, including violent
felonies on two Sioux Indian reservations. In New York City,
McGinty successfully conducted a number of Organized Crime and
anti-racketeering investigations. |

Based
in the FBI's Cleveland office from 1977 to 2001, McGinty served on
the Violent Crimes and Major Offenders Squad before assuming
responsibility for the Cleveland Office's Crisis Management
Program. In this role, he prepared Emergency Response and Disaster
Preparation Plans that enable the FBI to respond to everything
ranging from aircraft hijacking to Weapons of Mass Destruction
Protocols. |
