Lawman
spent 27 years in criminal investigation, executive protection,
and security management, including two decades with the U. S.
Secret Service. In 1997, he formed Lawman & Associates, based in
Canton, Ohio. The Company counseled individuals and companies so
they complied with governmental regulations, reduced exposure to
civil liability, and recovered money lost to fraud. |

In his
20-year career with the Secret Service, Lawman was assigned to
protect Presidents Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter,
Ronald Reagan, and George Bush as well as other dignitaries,
including Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, vice presidential
candidate Geraldine Ferraro, and former Philippine first lady
Imelda Marcos. |

As an
agent of the Secret Service, a law enforcement arm of the Treasury
Department, Lawman investigated a wide range of financial crimes,
arresting criminals who counterfeited money, forged government
checks and bonds, defrauded banks using credit cards, misused
computers, and obtained money through false loans. From this
experience, Lawman has developed wide-ranging expertise in
interviewing skills, a familiarity with all forms of security
devices, courtroom testimony, mastery of report writing, and
effective training techniques. |

Originally from Clarksburg, W. Va., Lawman graduated from
Millersville University in southeast Pennsylvania. He served three
years as a U.S. Army military intelligence analyst and
counter-intelligence special agent. |

|
|
McGinty spent 31 years as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau
of Investigation (FBI), based in Minneapolis, New York City, and
Cleveland. While in Minneapolis, he investigated bank robbery and
fugitive cases, including violent felonies on two Sioux Indian
reservations. In New York City, McGinty successfully conducted a
number of Organized Crime and anti-racketeering investigations. |
