International Management Assistance Corp. Acquires OK'S Cascade Company, One of Nation's Largest Mobile-Support Providers of Kitchen, Laundry and Food Services
   
CLEVELAND, Ohio (September 08, 1999) - OK's Cascade Company, one of the nation's largest mobile-support providers of kitchen, laundry and food services, was acquired by the International Management Assistance Corp. (IMAC). Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
   
With its OK's Cascade Company acquisition, IMAC is now positioned to provide even more support services to clients who must deal with emergencies ranging from strikes and industrial accidents to natural disasters such as hurricanes or fires, Daniel B. Auker, IMAC president and chief executive officer, said.
   
"It's an ideal fit for both companies," Auker said. "OK's Cascade Company has a depth of knowledge and wide range of resources in crucial areas that will enable IMAC to sustain its rapid growth."

OK's Cascade Company is based in Monroe, Wash. Founded in 1970, the company has grown into a multi-faceted organization that provides a variety of services during emergencies and planned events across the country. These range from feeding firefighters battling forest fires in remote locations, to tending to the food-service needs of more than 3,700 bicyclists riding to raise funds between Boston and New York, or fans attending such events as the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, or the Master's Golf Tournament.
Currently, OK's Cascade Company has 13 mobile kitchens, 13 mobile showers, numerous tractors, refrigerated trailers and other service vehicles in its own fleet of 220 pieces of rolling stock. Such resources have enabled the company to set up, within hours, a "self-supporting city" that is equipped to prepare and serve thousands of meals daily. Additionally, its customers can rent mobile kitchens, showers and laundries. Besides Monroe, Wash., it has offices in Twisp, Wash., and Louisville, Ky.
IMAC is a crisis-response company that offers its clients a full range of services that enable them to operate their businesses, with a minimum of disruption, during labor disputes or following disasters.
