For
more than one year, the International Management Assistance
Corporation (IMAC) has provided a temporary kitchen, housed in a
trailer, and refrigeration trucks on the grounds of the Society.
The assistance became necessary following a fire that seriously
damaged the Society’s dining and administration buildings. Within
24 hours of the fire, IMAC had trucked in freezers, blenders,
pots, pans, silverware, coolers, even salt and peppershakers, as
well as power generation equipment. Since then, its
food-preparation specialists, working from the temporary kitchen,
have helped serve approximately 125 meals daily to children and
staff members on the 10-acre campus. |
